I am a first time filmmaker who filmed an independent movie, which I shot in my neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. I wrote produced and directed it, and secured the talents of Malik Yoba, Clifton Powell, and Taral Hicks, all of whom were very impressed with the premise of the film and various messages contained in it. The film has also been praised for its positive depiction of the black father figure, which tends to be absent in hollywood movies.
