Summary:This position is primarily responsible for serving guests in banquet dining rooms by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Obtains linen, silver, glassware, and china to set tables.Arranges settings on tables.Serves courses from kitchen and service bars.Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.Maintains assigned station, including table pieces, side stands, and chairs.Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.Answers questions regarding food preparationBANQUET BARTENDER Summary:This position is primarily responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to guests of a banquet by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Takes drink requests from guests.Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.Collects money for drinks served.Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.Set up and take down of the banquet bar as required.
