SUMMARY:This position is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.Adjusts complaints of patrons.Coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.Prepares beverages and expedites food orders.Collects payment from customers.May be responsible to totals receipts, at end of shift, to verify sales and clears cash register. QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
